Attendance

Good attendance by pupils and staff is fundamental at Prince Avenue Academy and Nursery. 

Prince Avenue Academy and Nursery seeks to ensure that all its pupils receive a full-time education which maximises opportunities for each pupil to realise his/her true potential.  The school strives to provide a welcoming, caring environment, whereby each member of the school community feels wanted and secure. All school staff work with pupils and their families to ensure each pupil attends school regularly and punctually.

We work in partnership with our families and others to help remove any barriers that may prevent our pupils from attending school, and/or issues that cause persistent lateness, so that they have the greatest opportunities for high academic attainment.

Perfect Punctuality

Remember that school gates are open from 8.30am with doors open at 8.35am ready for children to be IN CLASS by 8.45am. Arriving on time for school is important as late arrivals are disruptive to class learning and can be embarrassing for the child who is late. Children can also miss important information during registration.
